Bio

Vicki Collinsworth  studied piano performance and pedagogy at Centenary School of Music in Louisiana.  She currently resides in Tennessee.  Vicki has been a church musician since the age of sixteen. Her current church positions include serving as Music Director/organist at First Christian Church and playing for mass at St. Pauls Catholic Church.  She is also collaborative pianist for Sewanee University, where she accompanies in both the vocal and instrumental areas. 

In the sacred realm, Vicki's sheet music arrangements have been published with Lorenz, Hal Leonard, and Hope Publishing.  She  received the "Most Creative Composer" award in the instrumental division for five years at Joseph Martin's composer symposium in Atlanta, Georgia.    

After retiring from 20 years of piano teaching , Vicki is currently devoting most of her time to composing, arranging and performing for the different ensembles and choirs she is involved with ~ including her own jazz quartet.  

Vicki keeps busy with local performances throughout the year.  The annual Christmas concert held at Motlow State College showcases original arrangements and compositions.  Selections of those pieces are also included in the "Sheet Music/Collections" section.
